Game 4 Summary: Potomac 51 Landon 32

January 7, 2000 - The Potomac Intermediate School basketball team stepped up and beat a very good Landon team 51-32 on the road.

Potomac let the Bears take an early lead, but then kicked in their defense to hold off Landon. The Bears had a 1 point lead after the first quarter 13-12. Potomac came out in the second quarter and held Landon to 9 points while scoring 14 for a half time score of 26-22. The Panther's defense just kept getting better. Potomac held Landon to single digit scoring in both quarters during the second half. The Panthers on the other hand where very consistent on offense.

Brent Locey led the way for Potomac with 17 points, 13 rebounds, 4 assists, and 4 steals. Marcus Ginyard scored 14 ponts, 5 rebounds and 3 assists. Michael Fischer also had 14 points including two 3 pointers. Bernard Johnson came in late in the gme and was perfect going 1-1 from the field and 2-2 from the line, scoring 4 points.

Potomac's next game will be on Friday, January 14th at home against Georgetown Day at 2:30pm.  Go Panthers!
