Wing Tchun
Wing Tchun
is a system of combat conceived by a woman (the buddhist Ng-Mui).
She created
a series of Kung-fu principles which relied on intelligence in order to
overcome physical strength easily and efficiently.
Wing Tchun
is one of the many styles of Kung-fu. It is represented by a soft system
of fighting which is characterized by close combat techniques, narrow stand
and manipulation of the force of the opponent ie. enemy. Wing Tchun has
only three forms (kate) and a series of practice techniques on wooden dummies,
as opposed to other styles that have many more forms. There are no strong,
rigid or complicated movements inWing Tchun, only simple, explosive, abrupt,
fast and flexible ones.
