Sports Club "Spartak" offers a Rhythmic and Artistic Gymnastics program. Beginning, intermediate, and advanced classes are offered, which are competitive and non-competitive. The Artistic Gymnastics program was organized by director, Mike Timen and later taken over by Yevsey Bakalinskiy, the gymnastics instructor. Created for both boys and girls, ages 4 and up. Gymnastics creates flexibility, coordination, discipline, strength, and confidence through fun activities in a safe environment. Classes start from 3:30 to 4:30 p.m. and from 4:30 to 5:30 p.m. on Tuesdays and Thursdays, and from 2:00 to 3:00 p.m. and from 3:00 to 4:00 p.m. on Saturdays. Mommy and me classes are also available from 3:30 to 4:30 p.m. on Tuesdays and Thursdays, and from 10:00 to 11:00 a.m. on Sundays. This class includes the parent to walk with their child during the class and to keep him or her under control. Olga Putsillo, a coach of many National and World Champions, is our Rhythmic Gymnastics coach, who offers a more feminine sport for girls which provides children to become very flexible, coordinated, elegant, and poised through apparatuses such as ball, ribbon, hoop, clubs, and rope, which are contained in routines that Olga teaches. Routines are taught for fun and coordination. Classes are from 4:30 to 5:45 p.m. and 5:45 to 7:00 p.m. on Tuesdays and Thursdays, from 2:00 to 4:00 p.m. on Saturdays, and from 9:00 to 11:00 a.m. on Sundays.
