(Unmerciful Examinations)

When June arrives one cannot rest,
having learnt too little.
The brain remains sealed every night,
and no notes can be poured into the memory.
The examination system still exists,
only the syllabus changes.
There is so much sadness to have exam every year,
and eyes are filled with tears for every ultimate failure.

This poem was written quite some time ago, when I was sitting at the back of the classroom, getting too bored with my Maths lesson. I had tried converting other well known poems into silly poems, yet this is my best so far. The original is by Li Yu, the last emperor of the Southern Tang dynasty of China. I also rewrite another poem, but the result is less satisfactory.
