As many of you know I attended Fall Brawl this year in Winston Salem. I went with my brother Chris and my friend Erik. Ah yes Erik, this guy had never seen a wrestling match in his life, not even on tv. We began our journey around 1 in the afteroon, I dropped by my friends work to get her money for a shirt, and then went through the drive thru of BK to get a shirt order from another friend. And then we were on our way to Winston, a good hour and a half drive.
We visited my brother's friend at first and then he dropped us off at the colosseum. Me and Erik finally found the gate that the guys were coming into. We saw Davey Boy and Neidhart getting out of their car first. Then we sat there for another half hour waiting for the next arrival. Me, Erik, and a whole group of Raven chicks talked and had fun. All of a sudden the gate opened as another car pulled up, there he was. "Is that who I think it is" came from one of us. Yeah it was, it was Sick Boy, being the last one to arrive there was no where for him to park so he just stopped his car and got out. In his street clothes it is hard to tell its him. Sick Boy is a hippie, he wore a shirt like my hippie friends own, tattered kahki shorts like my hippie friends own, birkenstocks like my hippies friends wear, and he had his hair pulled back in fluffy curls like my hair. He looked like he came right out of our downtown area, we do live in hippie town USA anyway. Sicky was the last man in, so upon getting out of his car he rushed into the building as fast as he could. So no autographs for me.
Well we sat through the whole bunch of crap before Raven's match. Raven was great, Lodi was wonderful, Saturn was awsome, and Kanyon was well he was Kanyon. As everyone knows Raven lost. What everyone doesn't know is that Raven was injured from the DVD. The trainer came out as Raven didn't get up after a few minutes. Rave did stand up fine but not without the support of the trainer. We all cheered him and he was helped out to the back by the trainer. Lodi was carried out by Kanyon as a result of being smashed through the table, that boy was limp and dead.
For me the night wasn't that great because my brother was so drunk he scared me. Erik loved it and will be watching the rest of his life. All in all the night wasn't that bad. And yes I took a ton of pictures.
