"The Victory Stars celebrate their 25-th Aniversary."

The Victory Stars started at March-1-1971.The name "Majorettepeloton Alkmaar" was changed in "The Victory Stars" 3 years later.A historyk year was 1977,when the club was extended with a youthpeloton.In the year 1978 they joined in the Holland Institure of Twirling with american instructors,the teached baton-acts,different shapes of ballet, and show-movements.Twirling was introduced in the city of Alkmaar.From that time The Victory Stars began to win several trofees.In spite of some ups and downs ,changes in the commitee, trainer changes and so on,is this society,now in 1996,still emphatic present in Alkmaar.It's a graet pity that their appearance for the people of Alkmaar is decreasing.Although at the present we do more competitions and festivals.Because the number of Majorette and Twirlsocieties increases,the commitee of The Victory Stars have a difficult job to let the girls join in , for example:the Relieve of Alkmaar,arrival of St Nicolaas etc.In spite of everything we had our 25-th Aniversary on March-1-1996 in society-centre "De Rekere".From 20:00 hrs till 22:15 hrs the twirling-girls presented a smashing show,like you can see on the pictures below.The girls have been training for over months to show you a various presentation of their acts.They used batons,pompoms,flags and even an act with fire-batons.

We hope that the pictures below,taken that evening,give you a good impressions of what happened on our 25-th Aniversary.

Pause of 30 minutes and tickets were sold for a lotery.
