Members wishing to play in ICCF tournaments should send their entries to Mr. E.G.Meherhomji with requisite fees. When starting a new ICCF tournament please send a Xerox copy of the start list to Shri E.G.Meheromji and also forward the same to me by email. When an ICCF game is completed, please send the result to the ICCF TD and also to me.

  • AICCF has put up a six member team for webserver base Olympiad OLY-17. Two top placed teams will qualify for the Final Stage.
  • Dr. Chatterjee has expressed his inability to continue his games in ICCF postal Olympiad preliminaries OLY-16 due to his official commitments. Shri Shams Khan replaces him on Board no. 1 in this event.

    The TD is Skerlík, Mgr. Stanislav and start date is 10th Jan, 2006. There is no end date. The games can be seen at the webserver with some restrictions. A game can be viewed only when it is finished, provided at least 10 games are finished in the event.
    9th Afro-Asian CC Champ, Prel Section D: Nikhil Kamat


    Pranab Bhowmick (Guwahati) has sent us the score of his second game against R.Lindberg in the India – Sweden match which ended in a draw game against the same opponent was published in the August Bulletin (p. 31). He writes, “With Black pieces, I was testing his ability to continue in a balanced position, in the meanwhile pushing ahead with my attack in the other game which I won.”

    This game is about equal throughout and ends quietly. Perhaps, Bhowmick could have considered exploiting his queenside pawn majority to try and make something out of the position before the exchange of the pair of rooks.
