2001 JEFF'S BAR GOLF SCRAMBLE

The 3rd annual golf scramble is looking to be even bigger and better then the 2nd. We are entertaining a new golf course for this year's event. Jeff and I have decided on Beachwood Golf Course. We are hoping to have a shotgun start at 10:30 am on July 7th. Thanks go out to Sean Walters and Mike Taylor for helping to set this up. These plans are now concrete. I finalized them today 6/11/01.
We need to get the groups signed up as soon as possible. Because we are having a shotgun start it is even more important that we get the number of teams signed up sooner. Beechwood has informed me that we will have our run of the course so hurry up and register your team. We should be the only groups on the course at that time. It should be a great time. As usual we will be meeting at 
at 8:30 am for their breakfast buffet. Everyone will be teeing off at 10:30 am so we should finish around 3:00 pm. There is a full service Grill & Bar at the course where we will be eating and drinking at afterwards.
The major change is that we are going to a 4 man scramble format. This should help to speed up play and make golfing more enjoyable. The second change is that we are going to have a half keg of Miller Genuine Draft on tap for anyone who would like to drink. Beachwood is providing a cart and driver to bring the beer around to us. We only ask for donations to help pay for the keg. The third change is that we are looking to get get prizes from Rubbermaid and Play-it-again sports. Sean Chase and I are working on the prizes this year.
