ABOUT ME

My name is Matt Morrissey. I was born on May 7 1981. As you already know my favourite goalie is Ed Belfour. I became a full time Belfour fan when collecting Chicago Blackhawks cards became a little to much, so my friend Dave and his dad Dale suggested that I collect one player only. After a few hours I narrowed it down to Chelios, Roenick and Belfour, and I guess you know the rest. What really put me over the edge was the 1995 playoffs when Belfour beat the home town Toronto Maple Leafs, then went on to beat the last Canadian team left in the playoffs the Canucks, then one of the best playoff series of all time vs. Detroit. Game 5 of that series was my favourite Belfour game, Belfour made 44 saves , took the game into double overtime and was named the 1st star of the game. Unfortunetly the Hawks were eliminated from the playoffs that night but Belfour's performance left the most lasting impression on me. I'm a Star Trek fan and I play Hockey and Baseball. I like building models, listening to country, dance and rock music and my favourite food is Chinese. My favourite car company is Ford but my favourite car is the DeLorean.

My favourite forward is Denis Savard. Savard scored the most amazing goal, he skated around 5 different Edmonton Oiler defenders before sliding the puck past Grant Fuhr. The goal is featured on Rock Em Sock Em 3 and on Rock Em Sock Em 10, they're worth renting. And Savard can even stop pucks right Eddie.

My favourite defenseman is Chris Chelios. I don't know how many times Chelios saved Belfour's bacon with his great defensive moves. However I don't think Chelios is helping Belfour on this particular play.
