WHAT DO THE KEWADIN INDIANS AAA MIDGET HOCKEY CLUB HAVE TO OFFER?
Stability of the program, we are now beginning our 14th year of existence.
Affiliation with the Soo Indians Jr. A team of the North American Hockey League.
55 to 65 games per season
3/ two hour practices per week
1 off-ice conditioning sessions per week
4 to 5 major tournaments
Team members will be community involved ex. Big Brothers, Salvation Army, and others.
WHAT IS OUR POLICY ON EDUCATION?
All Indians players will enroll in the SAULT AREA HIGH SCHOOL.
ATTENDANCE is mandatory and will be monitored by our education consultant.
2.0 GRADE POINT must be maintained in order to play.
It is our belief that any player playing hockey at this level is interested in pursuing hockey at the next level.
THEIR EDUCATION WILL NOT BE COMPROMISED!
TEAM PHILOSOPHY:
To offer young hockey players the opportunity to play hockey at a competitive level, while developing some of the necessary life skills that will help these players in whatever direction their careers take them.
HAVE WE BEEN SUCCESSFUL?
Over a 12 year period we have compiled 325 WINS, 204 LOSSES, AND 64 TIES. With over 35
DIVISION I SCHOLARSHIPS and numerous D2 and JR. players, our kids continue to reach their
goals.
WHAT WILL IT COST TO PLAY FOR THE KEWADIN INDIANS AAA MIDGET HOCKEY CLUB?
Cost will be $4,000 for the season which includes your ice time of 3 two hour practices per week, 55 to 65 games, one off ice conditioning per week with a conditioning coach and travel by chartered bus, hotels and tournaments. This must be paid by August 20, 2003 by certified check.
ROOM AND BOARD is $300 monthly. Seven post-dated checks for the first of each month are payable to the Soo Indians AAA Midgets upon arrival. |
