Who We Are, and What We Stand For
alkdlknadfkjnafanfndadvnandanfandvanvkansdnajvlajhvkbruirtyuriuqgnqrnvkajfhubhy The Lorain County Steelmen are preparing to kick off their 1999 football season. The Steelmen are a non-profit amateur semi-pro football team, made up of players from as far east as Akron and as far west as Toledo. They belong to the American Football Association nationally and will be playing in the Lake Shore Football League in the 1999 season. David Domonkos and Kevin Bradford head up the Steelmen. Both gentlemen have over eight years of experience at the semi-pro level, both as owners and coaches. Between the two they have been in the play-offs every year, and have won the Lake Shore Football League Championship back to back in 1996 and 1997. They will have a lot to offer as they prepare the team to compete for another championship season in 1999. The Steelmen will be playing teams from Toledo, Findlay, Lima, Zanesville, Detroit, Dearborn, Ann Arbor, and there will also be an addition of three new teams to the league this year.

The goal of the Lorain County Steelmen is to give those who were unable to continue their dream at the next level a chance at the semi-pro level. The main goal of the Lorain County steelmen is to make it to the American Football Association's Semi-Pro Football National Championship. We are currently looking for sponsors to help us reach this goal. Playing football at the semi-pro level costs money and much of those costs are met through players fees. Sponsership can help us meet these costs for the players, enabling us to suit them up in 1st rate equipment, and give them adequate facilities. Our goal is to gain sponsership support in the Lorain County area that will help us to compete with the top semi-pro football teams in the nation. The Steelmen will be playing at Oberlin high School in Oberlin, Ohio for the 1999 season.
