A detailed and Fun game guranteed to last weeks
Final Fantasy VIII is one great game in a long line of great games put out by Square. I can't brag on this game enough. The graphics are terrific. The sound is terrific. In fact, I upgraded my video card so that I could play this game. I had previously been using a 4MB AGP Non-3D accelerated video card. FF8 recommends at least 16 MBs of Video ram. I bought a cheap $40 video card and the game has ran great on it.
The game features numerous automated sequences (summoned GFs, FMVs, etc.) that have stunning detail in character design, music, and layout.
In a few days, I will update this page again (hopefully) with links for other web sites that contain a great deal more information about FF8 on their page. All I can offer at this point is a walkthrough guide that I revised from the original. The original was put forth by cephiroth@yahoo.com. I have tried to contact this individual and request permission to use this walkthrough on my site. I have received no denial of use and will thus post it. If cephiroth reads this, and finds a problem in this usage or simply wants to add more suggestions to this, please contact me via email link below.
I am continuing to do work on the walkthrough. It is almost complete at this point; however, I still have some small improvements that I might do. I have also noticed how large the file is and will try to go back soon and do another version of it but without many of the images to provide a smaller file that will hopefully include the needed images. Also below, a link to download a saved game from FF8. The saved game is saved outside the Ultimecia's Throne Room. All characters are level 100 with maximum stats and best weapons. All Guardian Forces are acquired, but only Eden is level 100. Squall has "The End" and "Full Cure" magic, junctioned with 100 Ultima's. Remaining characters are extremely fast and strong. Items from Chocobo World include Friendship. It is a zipped file so be prepared to have to unzip it.
