"Of course I understand why you were late…but perhaps you could come on time next time."

"OK, I really think that you should by a reader, as soon as possible."

The teacher always sits there, calm, smiling, and speaking in a friendly tone. She smiles, saying she believes the excuses offered. All the students see through the fa?ade. They tremble to the day when the mask finally comes off, the teacher snaps at the students, and they finally hear exactly what they know she was thinking the entire time. I think the students appreciate the fact that we don't here the awful truths, but is rather difficult to speak to somebody wearing a mask.

"Jeez, are you OK?"

"Yeah, just another ^lovely^ day at work."

"You really don't like that class do you? Don't give me that look. There's only six of them, how bad could it be?"

"How bad? I'll tell you how bad. There are two guys in the class. One of them keeps following me around, and is getting a bit too personal, plus he always seems to swear in class at the drop of a hat, with the appearance that it was relative to the discussion.

"Then there's the other guy. First of all, nobody can understand a word he says. Then, he really thinks that he's well read, and a good writer, but the fact is he's incredibly pathetic, and somebody should just tell it to him.

"There are two girls in the class who are not freshman. Both of them have accents, both of them are incredibly bright, and both of them are unfortunately insane. They both are are the two smartest space cadets I've ever met. When you see their mellow wide eyed "Well, yeah, I think that's right…" in class, you suspect they've been smoking something, and when you read the papers, it confirms it.

"Then there's the girl who NEVER talks. I've told you about her. I've gotten so close to screaming at her. She always gets defensive about why she does nothing, and continues to do nothing.

"Then there's the little rebel without a cause. The girl looks like she's immediately ready to be some Arsi's girlfriend. She continues to complain that she can't write. She's getting better, but she keeps complaining about how hard it is.

"There's absolutely no normal likable student."

"Oy, I'm sorry. Well, why don't you quit?"

"And do what? Be a professional story teller? I like literature, I like reading, I like teaching, I just can't stand the students."

"Well, it's almost over. Just hang in there."
