Well, okay, just today (6/16/97) I finished 8th grade!
I'm 14 years old, go to CTY, my camp (AKA the pompously titled Center for Talented Youth--but they let me in too), and spend altogether too much time online. Most of that time is spent emailing my friends but a fair amount is also spent at various websites.
I don't really have much of a life, as you might have gathered. I used to take jazz dance and I quit in my sixth year, just recently. Before that I took modern. I also write and edit articles for the best of 3 school papers, Witness. Actually, every single article I wrote in 8th grade (about 10) was about sex in one way or another, which is mildly disturbing. Hmm. Perhaps I'm being typecast.
I have a mother named Julia, a father named Hartry (remind me to link to his picture, which is online), and yes, that IS my real name. My dog, Klondike, is my favorite family member. Out of anyone's family, but particularly my own.
Politically, I'm an 'independent liberal'. If I had to pick a political party, though, I think I'd go with Socialist USA. Note: NOT the Socialist Workers Party under any circumstances. I HATE the SWP. Anyway, I'm VERY against capital punishment and I'm really into civil liberties. my main things right now are women's rights, students' rights, and mental patients' rights. I'm going to write some more about that later.
I guess that's really it for now. I'll write more later. Sorry this was so boring!
