| Comments: you amaze me----a man with such knowledge----you could represent me any day--im a so called white person, but as you say---were all colored---i was born in indiana,grew up in a lower middle-class neighborhood--we were not poor until someone told us we were---sure i fought with the black kids(negros in that day) but i also fought with the white kids---we were just kids no color --kids i never knew that the "black" people had to ride the back of buses, until one timw we all went to a movie together---i asked my best girlfriend why she couldn't sit up front with me---she said her mom said she was to sit in the back----so we set in back together-----we need strong leaders---MOM'S SHOULD NOT EVER HAVE TO TELL THAT TO THEIR LITTLE ONES-----that---real nice to meet you sweet-man---my daughter debbie is very impressed by you "got a new friend today" she said |
| Comments: Yep! Hadn't thought about it before, but seems as if the "Afro" isn't really proper, in "Afro-American Culture"! As goes for most "American Cultures"... And I had thought for sometime that labeling of a particular race (in filling out forms, etc) was so restrictive ~ three or four choices??? For so many people??? And WHY is it necessary? I doubt many Americans are of only one background! |
