So what am I. If you don't care, then back you go.
Ben Franklin had 13 "virtues" or "values" that he strove to live by.
Of course the silly old fuck had it
all wrong, but at least his thoughts provide a roadmap for defining
oneself. If you'd rather read my
response to his so-called virtues, go here. Elsewise, read how
I attempt to define myself:
I am an atheist.
I do not believe in god(s).
I do not believe in good/evil.
I do not believe in the societal institutions which
religion and Republicans have inflicted on us.
I am an individual.
My highest concern is my own pleasure.
I set my own limits.
I ignore limits set by others.
As an individual, I allow myself to live in society
out of convenience.
I pay a subscription fee to society in the form
of taxation.
In return, society protects me from those who are
stronger than I am.
I ignore all of society's rules.
I fear only the policeman lurking around the next
corner.
I am an alcoholic.
Though I am prone to drinking, I refuse to use alcohol
to avoid problems.
You are not a problem, thus I do not need to avoid you, so I think I'll have a drink.
I am a philosopher.
So are you. Go ahead, try it.
I create ideas.
I am an artist.
So are you. You can do it.
I create things.
I am never wrong.
I am never right.
Remember, there is no right or wrong.
