east timor agriculture Since 1976, East Timor region develop various agriculture industry. Currently, East Timor enjoy good agriculture infrastructure, during last fiscal year produce 69,467 tonnes rice, 122,494 tonnes corn. The agriculture industry enjoy a 6.84 percent rise from previous year. The fishery industry also increase 4.74 percent producing 2,688 tonnes fish. east timor education and health From 143,000 children in East Timor, 96.12 percent of them enjoy good education in 3,471 elementary schools. The 26,445 teenage secondary attend 114 unit schools, while 53 high schools currently have 16,099 student. In the health sector facility, currently developed 11 hospital and 67 clinics. east timor donation East Timor governor's Abilio Soares give 60 million dollar to Timor Kmanek radio station in Dili, East Timor on 30 July 1997. The donation intended to build the radio station building in Bukit Maloa, and received by Director of Timor Kmanek radio station, Bishop Domingos Sequeira. east timor security East Timor give special attention from the world, specially about its security. Most of the danger for East Timor community come from clandestine guerilla attack, a faction of Fretiline movement. Clandestine movement currently only have 200 people force with 89 gun. They sometimes enter the city to provoke the East Timorese people. east timor heritage Benteng Balibo is an old fortress built in 1769 by Portuguese colonization, currently restored by Indonesian government costing US$150 million. The heritage restoration was meant to lighten up the 300 square meters fortress that will enriched the East Timorese cultural live.
