FUTURESAVER OF THE WEEK ENDING 11-11-2006

Chris Murphy is a Senator in the Connecticut State Senate who is running for Congress in Connecticut's Fifth District. He is chair of the General Assembly's Public Health Committee. He believes all of us deserve affordable quality health care. He has backed up that belief by passing numerous health care improvements in Connecticut including reducing environmental health hazards. He is determined to help bring us out of the numerous American crises created by or exacerbated by the Bush administration such as 9/11, Hurricane Katrina and the Iraq War. He believes Medicare officials should negotiate for lower drug prices. He wants to help repair the lack of oversight the Congress exercises over failed and irresponsible administration policies including Defense mismanagement of the Iraq War/occupation. He wants to repair the numerous flaws of the goofy Bush/Congress Medicare Part D irresponsible and irrational provisions.
