FUTURESAVER OF THE WEEK ENDING 10-28-2006

Joe Sestak is running for Congress in Pennsylvania's 7th district to replace Congressman Curt Weldon. A recent poll shows Joe ahead of Curt. Sestak is a retired US Navy Vice Admiral. He was deployed to Europe, the Persian Gulf, Western Pacific and South Pacific. He has a master's degree in Public Administration and a Ph.D. in Political Economy and Government. He believes in economic security, health security, educational security and defense security. He wants to reduce the national debt, restore budget discipline, reform taxes for fairness, create jobs and provide family support. He wants health coverage for all, more preventive care, more responsibility and health performance standards. He wants affordable education from pre-K to college with quality teachers. He wants a timetable for withdrawal from Iraq. He is pro-environment working toward reducing oil consumption, increasing renewable consumption, increasing car fuel efficiency, decreasing global warming and making a healthier environment for ourselves and other life forms.
