FUTURESAVER OF THE WEEK ENDING 9-23-2006

Stephanie Herseth is the Congresswoman for South Dakota. She supports abortion rights, is for better veterans' programs, ethanol and other renewable fuels, farms, seniors, New Orleans and other Katrina help, schools, hospitals, wildlife habitat, drought assistance, emergency conservation, cutting wasteful spending, mines and technology research, Indian Country improvements, Iraq withdrawal strategy, South Dakota disaster recovery, identity theft protection, Native American veteran homeowners, water system improvements, forest recovery and research, save health clinics and other vital services from morally irresponsible budget cuts, ethics reform, funding for National Children's study, improving adoption, better education and child care, improved port security, no Medicare cuts and many other necessary issue improvements. She serves on the Agriculture Committee, the Veterans' Affairs Committee and the Resources Committee.
