FUTURESAVER OF THE WEEK ENDING 1-21-2006

Paul Hackett is the U.S. Marines Major who came close to beating a Republican candidate in the special election for Congress August 2, 2005 in Ohio in a solidly Republican district. He is now shooting to replace Ohio's Republican incumbent U.S. Senator Mike DeWine in the 2006 elections. Hacket is a role model for those other Democrats who want to end wars, occupations and bombings in the cause of resource stealing through death, maiming and propaganda. He appeals to Democrats, Independents and Republicans who are sick and tired of the casualties of an endless war for resource dominion worldwide. He drives a Honda Civic hybrid instead of a gas-guzzling SUV tank. He knows that the U.S. should not have invaded Iraq. He thinks we should stop spending money and lives in Iraq. He knows that Judge Alito is the wrong choice for the Supreme Court because he is a radical replacement for moderate Sandra Day O'Conner and would set a dangerous course on privacy, Imperial Presidency, civil liberties and corporations. Ordinary working Americans are very fond of Hackett. For doing the right thing for the overwhelming majority of Americans, Paul Hackett has been named Futuresaver of the Week.
