FUTURESAVER OF THE WEEK ENDING 11-26-2005

Better

Lawrence Greenfeld was appointed to Director of the Bureau of Justice Statistics in 2001 and was demoted in 2005 for refusing to corrupt statistics with political lies. This type of Bush administration behavior explains why Bush's ratings have been dropping rapidly in the eyes of the American public and why honesty, integrity and decency are becoming so scarce at the top of our government. Politicians trumping facts seems to be the main criteria for being at the top of the Bush administration. Truth in reports is deleted or buried in the bureaucracy so that it does not get reported in the major media. Lawrence Greenfeld blew the whistle so that the truth did come out with respect to his Justice statistics. Police often seem to believe that sitting behind the steering wheel of a car is a crime if you are a minority person. For being a good, decent, competant, honorable, truthful, responsible, whistleblowing, caring and reliable public official in the generally propaganda-based Bush Administration, Lawrence Greenfeld has been named Futuresaver of the Week.
