Mel Goodman is a Senior Fellow, National Security for the Center for International Policy. He was an analyst at the CIA for 24 years. He has taught at the National War College, Johns Hopkins and the American University. He is the author of the book, "Bush League Diplomacy." He has pointed out that VP Dick Cheney is a massive source of disinformation which promotes illegal activities created by the Bush administration. The administration lie factory corrupts our intelligence community and helps create failed policies and false intelligence. Mel Goodman, along with other critics, predicted that the lack of Bush post-war planning would lead to the massive violent struggles in Iraq that we are seeing today against the US and between the Shiites/Sunnis/Kurds. The tyranny of Saddam has been replaced by the tyranny of the USA. US policy and action is continuing to produce numerous civilian deaths causing a huge Iraqi desire to end US occupation.
