FUTURESAVER OF THE WEEK ENDING 5-21-2005

Scott Ritter, the former senior UN weapons inspector in Iraq, has been warning us for years about the lies, propaganda and war/torture crimes of the the Bush/Cheney/Blair administrations. Perhaps now that we have smoking-gun proof of his allegations (London Sunday Times recently published official secret minutes from 7/23/2002), most Americans will believe him and force the Congress to impeach Bush/Cheney. The impeachment proceedings would reveal a host of additional crimes and misdemeanors and would demonstrate to the peoples of the world that most Americans are not monsters and will no longer tolerate a monstrous administration. Ritter knows that the Iraq election was rigged so that real democracy does not exist there (the Bushies have become experts in election rigging, here, there and everywhere). He also knows that the Bushies have nasty and illegal intentions toward Iran and toward many other countries. The sad fact is that the current USA government is incapable of allowing genuine democracy to exist in the Middle East. American occupation of Iraq is counterproductive because it only makes the insurgency flourish and grow.
