Ellen Goodman is a columnist and author who appears in the Boston Globe and in more than 450 other newspapers. She won the Pulitzer prize for distinguished Commentary in 1980. She has written 8 great books, six of them being collections of her columns. Her collective common sense views are impressive. She is the USA's real uniter, not a divider for she applies real common sense to the problems of our era. She is not tied to the worst of the left or to the mass of Bushian mistakes/fundamentalisms/tortured propaganda. She is reasonable and fair on any major issue that can be named. She is clear on what the right thing to do is and will not be swayed by any group's propaganda machine. She can smell every kind of injustice imaginable and point toward a sane remedy. For educating all of us on how to be reasonable and fair on all of the important issues, Ellen Goodman has been named Futuresaver of the Week. Click the links below for more information.
