Jerome Kassirer, MD was the Editor-in-Chief of New England Journal of Medicine for 8 years and is Distinguished Professor at Tufts University School of Medicine and is Adjunct Professor of Medicine at Yale University School of Medicine. He has written several excellent medical books. His current book is On the Take: How Medicine's Complicity with Big Business Can Endanger Your Health. He details precisely how corporations degrade the practise of medicine in order to increase their profits. This corrupt Mafiaization of medicine has killed and injured millions of people in the USA and throughout the world. Instead of helping to clean up this sorry machine of death, the Bush administration has helped make it even more deadly. Voting for Bush is voting for death at home and abroad.
