Dr. Brian Jones is a former head of the nuclear, chemical and biological branch of the UK Ministry of Defense Intelligence Staff. He contradicted some of Tony Blair's (and other government officials) statements about Iraq's weapons-of-mass-destruction capabilities. He helped debunk official statements which falsely justified UK/US going to war against Iraq. He stated that the intelligence operatives who wrote the corrupt government statements were probably lying in order to please those at the top of the UK government who had decided (with Bush) to go to war against Iraq without any real justification.
