FUTURESAVER OF THE WEEK ENDING 5-22-2004

Sibel Edmonds is the former FBI translator who was fired for blowing the whistle on FBI incompetance and corruption. She also knows that the current 9/11 investigation is skipping over illegal activities by high level USA government officials. She testified to the National Commission on Terrorist Attacks (USA) that the FBI had detailed information before 9/11 that a terrorist attack involving airplanes was being plotted. She is keenly aware of the many lies being told by the Bush White House. Sibel Edmonds is a Turkish-American who has been a US citizen for ten years. She was fired in March 2002 for speaking the truth. The Justice Department and other Bush officials are doing everything they can to gag her and to keep the truth secret because if what Sibel knows and what others know was all made public many individuals in the Bush administration would be impeached or otherwise removed from office. For blowing the whistle on the lies, excessive secrets and corruption of the Bushies with respect to 9/11, Sibel Edmonds has been named Futuresaver of the Week.
