FUTURESAVER OF THE WEEK ENDING 5-1-2004

Better

Bob Woodward reported the Nixon Watergate scandal from 1972 to 1974 with Carl Bernstein. Woodward won the Pulitzer Award in 1973 and became assistant managing editor of the Washington Post in 1981. His new book is Plan of Attack and he has written eight other books, two of them with Bernstein. Plan of Attack is a detailed description of how the Bush Administration made its illegal Iraq war possible and acceptable to Congress and to USA citizens. The Iraq war was being planned and energized long before 9/11 happened and without any real evidence that Iraq had weapons of mass destruction or any connection to terrorism. Vice President Dick Cheney was the prime ringleader in the push toward creating the war crime of the USA attack on Iraq. Cheney, Wolfowitz, Libby, Feith and Rumsfeld were the instigators who created the fascist bombing, invasion and occupation of Iraq. The involvement of Tenet is less clear. The role of Bush himself is as more of a stooge than a doer. Impeachment would be the best solution to the Iraq calamity. For bringing truth to corrupt government at the times of its greatest need, Bob Woodward has been named Futuresaver of the Week. Click the links below for more information.
