Congresswoman Ellen Tauscher of California's 10th district has a 100 % environmental score for 2003, according to the League of Conservation Voters. She is a member of the House Armed Services Committee and a member of House Transportation and Infrastructure Committee. She is also a member of the Highways and Transit Subcommittee and of the Aviation Subcommittee. She is also National Vice Chair of the Democratic Leadership Council. She has an impressive record on defense, homeland security, high tech, transportation, veterans, nuclear nonproliferation, aviation, working families, small business, childcare, education, libraries, Social Security, campaign finance reform, United Nations, safety, mininukes, human rights, FCC rules and on many other issues.
