John Brown is the State Department career diplomat who resigned in protest of the Bush administration's Iraq policy. He was the second person to do so; John Brady Kiesling was the first. John Brown knows about the numerous foreign policy failures of the Bush administration and why they have led to disasters. He knows that the Bush wars have created more and deeper problems than the problems they were supposed to solve. The biggest problem is the escalation of hate against the US government throughout most of the world. If they hate you they will automatically reject your "solutions". The Bush demonization of enemies only makes enemies more deeply aware of your own demonic qualities. For resigning from and blowing the whistle on the most corrupt, most inept, most bigoted and most antidemocratic US administration in living memory, John Brown has been named Futuresaver of the Week.
