FUTURESAVER OF THE WEEK ENDING 2-14-2004

Clare Short was Tony Blair's Secretary of State for International Development. She resigned that position as a protest of the Blair/Bush illegal war against Iraq. She remains a Member of Parliament from Birmingham Ladywood. She has had a distinguished career in overseas development, women's issues, transport, environmental protection, social security, employment, race relations, international relations and human rights. She has a clear understanding of how to do the right things and how to avoid doing the wrong things in association with corrupt characters like George W. Bush and Tony Blair. For refusing to participate in the bad deed called imperial conquest with blatant propagandizing and for blowing the whistle on "superiors" who have lost their moral minds, Clare Short has been named Futuresaver of the Week.
