Joy Grant is a dedicated environmentalist from Belize. She is currently Vice-President and Managing Director of the Atlantic Conservation Region of the Nature Conservancy and is a member of the Conservancy's Executive Leadership Team. She was previously the creator of and Executive Director of the Programme for Belize conservation organization. Before that, she was Counselor and Deputy Head of Mission at the Embassy of Belize in Washington, D.C. and has comprehensive experience in international and development banking. She is excellent in organizing economically-significant projects that operate to sustain a decent environment. She is also excellent in educating executives to the realities of primitive environments and their peoples.
