FUTURESAVER OF THE WEEK ENDING 6-28-2003

Better

Michael J. Copps has been a Federal Communications Commission Commissioner since May 2001. He is an outspoken opponent of the recent giveaway of media spectrum to the biggest and most corrupt corporations by the 3-2 partisan majority on the Commission despite the fact that 99% plus of public comments opposed the giveaway. Copps has long done the right thing on the media, civil rights, communication spectrum allocation, viewers/listeners rights, women, minorities, consumers, the disabled, diversity, equal opportunity, affirmative action and children's needs. For clearly knowing what is right in communications and the other major aspects of society and for doing his best to make the right things happen for all of us, Michael J. Copps has been named Futuresaver of the Week. Click the links below for more information.
