FUTURESAVER OF THE WEEK ENDING 6-14-2003

Matthew Rothschild is the editor of and a commentator for The Progressive magazine and its online version. He previously worked for The Progressive as associate editor, managing editor and publisher. He is a fervent defender of civil liberties, humanitarian politics and a true progressive viewpoint. He hosts Progressive Radio and does radio commentaries. He is cofounder of The Progressive Media Project which distributes truly progressive and truly democratic opinion pieces to newspapers. He stands unequivocally for peace, social justice, real democracy and environmental protection. His newspaper commentaries have run in leading papers and he is a frequent contributor to The Hill. Previous to The Progressive he was editor of Multinational Monitor founded by Ralph Nader. For bringing truth to the current trend in the USA toward dimwitted global fascist dominion by the top layers of USA corporate/political/military governess, Matthew Rothschild has been named Futuresaver of the Week.
