FUTURESAVER OF THE WEEK ENDING 5-3-2003

Ramsey Clark was Assistant Attorney General of the U.S. and Attorney General under John F. Kennedy and Deputy Attorney General and Attorney General under Lyndon B. Johnson. He had a private law practice, was a teacher, is a writer and founded the Internation Action Center. He also has numerous other activities, memberships and interests. He strongly favors the impeachment of George W. Bush, Dick Cheney, Donald Rumsfeld and John Ashcroft for high crimes and misdemeanors and has drafted Articles of Impeachment. He addressed half a million demonstrators at the January 18th National March on Washington to Stop the War on Iraq. For knowing precisely what the USA and the rest of the world needs to do to end war and create real democracies with human and environmental justice for all and for doing his best to implement these desired results, Ramsey Clark has been named Futuresaver of the Week.
