FUTURESAVER OF THE WEEK ENDING 4-26-2003

Syeda Rizwana Hasan is Bangladesh Environmental Lawyers Association's director of programs. She is also a member of Women and Environment Task Force for the Asia Pacific Forum on Women, Law and Development and a member of the Board of Trustees of the Rangpur Dinajpur Rural Service. She spoke in the United Arab Emerates about initiating public interest environmental law there. She co-authored the book Laws Regulating Environment in Bangladesh with Mohiuddin Farooque. She participated in the 2003 Public Interest Environmental Law and Environmental Law Alliance Worldwide Conferences in Oregon, USA. For making great effort to improve the environment in Bangladesh and elsewhere in the world, Syeda Rizwana Hasan has been named Futuresaver of the Week. Click the links below for more information.
