Robert Fisk is the UK's best and most decorated foreign correspondent. He works for the Independant Newspaper UK. His reporting from Baghdad in the Iraq war is chock-full of accurate and relevant information. He specializes in the Middle East where he has been for 23 years. He has received the British International Journalist of the Year award 7 times and the Amnesty International UK Press Awards 2 times. He was awarded the John Hopkins SIAS-CIBA prize for international journalism. He wrote 3 books: The Point of No Return: ..., In Time of War:... and Pity the Nation: Lebanon at War. In 2002 he won an Association of Journalists Rome Silver Microphone Award for defending press freedom. He does not have it in him to coddle war criminals. For telling the truth about all the war disasters and other stupid aggressive violence he has witnessed, Robert Fisk has been named Futuresaver of the Week.
