FUTURESAVER OF THE WEEK ENDING 3-8-2003

Alexander Cockburn is a columnist for The Nation magazine, coedits the CounterPunch newsletter and is co-author of Whiteout: The CIA, Drugs and the Press. He also wrote Five Days That Shook the World: Seattle and Beyond. Alex Cockburn has a good grasp on the reality of what needs to be done and on the reality of the trashiness and propaganda spins of the Bushies which are opposing the dreams of the people for a real and peaceful democracy. He has written excellent histories of recent demonstrations which are leading our societies away from wars and other gross manifestations of unregulated corporate dominions over governments and over peoples. He has helped expose the organized lies of corporate-bought "democracies" whose politicians and "intelligence" agencies are manipulated to fight evil with evil instead of fighting bad deeds with good deeds. How thick do the lies and dead bodies have to get until the people impeach the liers and the killers so we can have a real democracy with real elections?
