FUTURESAVER OF THE WEEK ENDING 2-1-2003

Better

Amy Chua is the author of World on Fire: How Exporting Free Market Democracy Breeds Ethnic Hatred and Global Instability (and earlier publications). She is also a Professor of Law at Yale University and has had many prior positions. Amy Chua has concluded that the bitterly-divided world results from ethnic/religious/economic divisions/dominions between the peoples of the world. Bitter divisions between the haves and have-nots and between ethnic groups create the mass murder called war. Rich corporate dominion over near-slave laborers can create global dominion but cannot create global justice and real democracy. Before the USA and other fake democracies can spread without violence they must make their democracies real at home. Real democracy will spread through peaceful example: when a "democracy" bombs and invades other countries it is quite clear that it is only a fake democracy creating terrorist opposition. Market-dominant minorities create injustice and opposition in their dominees. Bombs from the Bush only invite bombs from the bush. Bombs from the Israelis only invite bombs from the Palestinians. For clearly explaining the real causes of group conflicts and for offering the root of a solution to war/terrorism, Amy Chua has been named Futuresaver of the Week.
