Noreena Hertz is Associate Director of the Center for International Business and Management at the Judge Institute of Management Studies, University of Cambridge and the author of THE SILENT TAKEOVER, a UK best-selling book about corporate control of governmental functions throughout much of the world and about the anti-globalization protests this illegitimate hegemony has caused. She also helped set up the first Russian stock exchange. She was recently interviewed on the PBS NOW program by Bill Moyers. She knows that the proper function of 21st century societies requires smart regulation of corporations by smart governments free of corporate bribery.
