Barbara Ehrenreich has written many progressive books, articles and columns. She is currently a columnist for The Progressive magazine. She has appeared in the New York Times, Time magazine, Mother Jones, Ms., Harper's, The Nation, The New Republic, Atlantic Monthly, professional biology journals, the Washington Post, Esquire, the New Republic, Social Policy, Merabella, Aperture, Civilization and others. Nickle and Dimed: On (Not) Getting By in America is a great example of her excellant books. She has received a Ford Foundation Award, a Guggenheim Fellowship and numerous other grants, fellowships and awards. She was on Oprah. She lectures at colleges, churches and unions. She is co-author with Francis Fox Piven of The Mean Season: The Attack on Social Welfare.
