Robert Scheer is a top journalist in the field of social and political writing. He has excellent progressive columns and interviews. He was Vietnam correspondent then managing editor then editor of Ramparts magazine. He was a national correspondent for the LA Times. He is now a contributing editor at the LA Times and at The Nation magazine. He has taught at Antioch College, New York City College, UC Irvine, UCLA and UC Berkeley. He is now a Senior Lecturer and Privacy Project director at USC's Annenberg School for Communication. He can be heard in Southern California at NPR's KCRW affiliate. He has written six excellent books. He has received many honors, awards and citations.
