Congresswoman Stephanie Tubbs Jones of Ohio's 11th district has a 93% environmental score for 2001, according to the League of Conservation Voters. She is a member of the House Committee on Banking and Financial Services and of its Subcommittees on Capital Markets, Securities and Government Sponsored Enterprizes and on Housing and Community Development. She is also a member of the House Committee on Small Business and of its Subcommittee on Empowerment. She also belongs to the Black, Baltic, Democratic, Census and Women's Caucuses. In addition to her excellent environmental record, she has an impressive progressive record on social security, medicare, education, , affordable healthcare, small business, housing, Child Abuse Prevention and enforcement (CAPE), civil rights, human rights, Uterine Fibroids Research and Education Act, Campus Fire Prevention Act, election reform, banking reform, labor, right to choose, equal employment opportunity, drugs, due process in military trials, community, extended employment benefits, the Arts, federal department reforms, guns, safety, seniors, Violence Against Women Act, affordable prescription drugs and on many other issues.
