Congressman Ed Pastor of Arizona's 2nd district has an 81%
environmental score for 1999, according to the League of
Conservation Voters. He is a member of the House Appropriations
Committee and a member of its Transportation Subcommittee and a
member of its Energy and Water Development Subcommittee. He is
also a member of the House Standards of Official Conduct
Committee. He also serves on the Democratic Steering and Policy
Committee and is one of four Chief Deputy Whips in the Democratic
Leadership. He also serves on numerous Caucuses. Ed Pastor has an

biotechnology, human rights, civil rights, housing, community,
Native Americans, labor, fair taxes, Social Security, Medicare,
