Congressman George Miller of California's 7th district has
a 93% environmental score for the 105th and 106th Congresses,
according to the League of Conservation Voters. He is ranking
Democrat on the House Education and the Workforce Committee and
he serves on the House Resources Committee. He has an impressive
progressive record on the environment, education, labor, Native
Americans, children, youth, families, safety, health care,
nutrition, housing, family planning, crime, foster care and
adoption reform, violence, women's issues, foreign policy,
Pinochet, economic opportunities, self governance, minimum wage,
sweatshop labor, racism, civil rights and on many other issues.
For doing the right thing for all of us and for the Earth's
