Kim Gandy is the new (6/30/01) President of the National
Organization for Women. She has served NOW at the local, state or
national level since 1983. She has had great success as a
feminist and progressive political activist. For working
tirelessly for the betterment of women, children and men in our
society, for increasing our freedoms and responsibilities and for
targeting those men who are most addicted to patriarchy and other
injustices, Kim Gandy has been named Futuresaver of the Week.
