Tahmineh Milani is an Iranian screenwriter and filmmaker
who is doing her best to improve the social status of Iranian
women and to reduce the second-class treatment of Iranian women.
Her films graphically illustrate the unfair aspects of Iranian
life and traditions and they explore the limited realities of
life for women in Iran. Her film titled Two Women is an
especially good one. Her other film titles include Children of
Divorce, The Legend of Sigh, What Else is New and Kakadu. For
helping to expand justice, freedom, education, rights,
opportunities and joys for women in Iran and elsewhere, Tahmineh
Milani has been named Futuresaver of the Week. Click the links
