Congressman Sam Farr of California's 17th district has a 90% environmental score for the 106th Congress, according to the League of Conservation Voters. He is a member of the House Appropriations Committee and of its Subcommittees on Agriculture and on Military Construction. He is also chair of the House 32-member California Democratic Congressional Delegation.
