Congressman Barney Frank of Massachusetts' 4th district has
a 93% environmental score for 2000, according to the League of
Conservation Voters. He is a member of the House Judiciary
Committee and of its Subcommittees on The Constitution and on
Immigration and Claims. He is also a member of the House Banking
Financial Services Committee and of its Subcommittees on Domestic
Monetary Policy, Technology and Economic Growth; on Housing and
Community Opportunity; and on International Monetary Policy and
Trade. In addition to his good record on the environment, he has
an impressive progressive record on drugs, fair taxes, fiscal
responsibility, smart regulation, deportation reform, internet
freedom, social safety nets, minimum wage, medical marijuana,
East Timor, violence, lower military spending, justice for those
oppressed, International New Deal, foreign policy, reasonable
intelligence spending, minimum global standards, health care,
Medicare, Medicaid, tobacco, affordable prescription drugs,
affordable housing, Social Security, guns, transportation,
economic and social justice, education, labor, human rights, hate
